S & M Expediting is a NYC permit expediting company and a Class 2 filing representative. Our expediters prepare and follow Department of Buildings filings for owners, architects, engineers, plumbers, and contractors across all five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
Mercedes Lata leads the firm. S & M Expediting, Inc. is certified by the New York City Department of Small Business Services as a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (certificate MWCERT2020-4236). Our staff brings more than 75 years of combined NYC expediting experience.
We prepare the filings and follow them with the city. We do not do the construction. When a job needs a licensed trade, we will work with the contractor you have, or if not, we will recommend one from our network.
